Cable is where a well-specified system quietly loses level. Over a long run, thin conductors drop voltage before it reaches the speaker, and the effect is worse on low-impedance lines than on 100V line systems.

Oxygen-free copper is the standard choice for commercial installations. Choose the larger 1.5 sq.mm conductor for long runs, higher power or low-impedance wiring, and 1.0 sq.mm for shorter 100V line branches.
